WELD SQUARE

Public BBQ

Weld Square is a serene park with decades-old trees providing ample shade, making it a nice spot for casual gatherings and picnics. It has become a crucial community hub, especially noted for the mobile soup kitchen serving the homeless at lunchtime. Recent improvements have led to a safer and cleaner environment, although caution is advised in certain areas at night. The park's atmosphere has transformed positively, attracting locals for weekend picnics and social activities. The addition of amenities like a basketball court enhances its recreational appeal. Volunteers regularly support the less fortunate here, emphasizing the park's role in community service and social interaction.
